Digital Innovation & Cybersecurity
Goal: Bridge the digital divide and protect communities online- Train youth & women in AI tools, digital literacy, and online safety.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness sessions in schools, churches, and media.
- Promote responsible technology use for community development.
- Pilot AI chatbots for legal aid information and agricultural support.
2025 Results:
60+ digital literacy graduates, 20+ cybersecurity awareness sessions conducted at St. Mary's Mumias, KBC Channel 1, and other institutions across Kakamega.
Climate Action & Smart Agriculture
Building resilient farming communities
Climate Action & Smart Agriculture
Goal: Build resilient households through climate-smart farming- Promote kitchen gardening and diversified farming systems for food security.
- Train farmers on climate-smart agricultural practices and soil conservation.
- Strengthen women-led farming groups and table banking initiatives.
- Promote environmental conservation, tree planting, and disaster preparedness.
2025 Results:
75 kitchen gardens established, 25 goats & 150 improved chickens distributed, 12 farmer groups strengthened through table banking.
Human Rights & Animal Welfare
One Welfare approach for all
Human Rights & Animal Welfare
Goal: Protect rights, prevent violence, and promote humane treatment- GBV prevention, legal aid, mediation, and psychosocial support for survivors.
- Child protection, Return-to-School policy, and parenting skills training.
- Animal welfare advocacy and humane livestock treatment education.
- Engage men and boys as champions in prevention initiatives.
2025 Results:
112 GBV awareness forums, 45 survivors received legal aid, 60 accessed counseling, 20 male champions trained, 5 animal welfare groups established.
Governance & Health Accountability
Transparency for better services
Governance & Health Accountability
Goal: Promote transparency, citizen participation, and quality healthcare- Community scorecards and social accountability forums for health facilities.
- Civic education, voter awareness, and public participation in county governance.
- Advocate for full implementation of the Kakamega Health Service Act 2022.
- Strengthen CSO networks for collective advocacy and policy influence.
2025 Results:
Shianda Health Centre operating 24 hours, 30% reduction in drug stock-outs, 6 media features, CSO network expanded to 82 members.
