A grassroots organization dedicated to holistic community empowerment through digital innovation, climate action, human rights, and animal welfare.

Who We Are

Community Capacity Building Organization (CCABO) is a Community-Based Organization (CBO) registered in 2005 and operating in Kakamega County, Kenya. We were established to respond to local development challenges through community-driven, inclusive, and sustainable solutions.

We work closely with communities, local leaders, civil society actors, and other stakeholders to strengthen local capacities and promote social justice, accountability, and improved quality of life.

Founded

CCABO registered as a Community-Based Organization in Kakamega County to address local development challenges.

2015

Expanded Programs

Launched climate-smart agriculture and GBV prevention programs, reaching over 5,000 community members.

2020

Digital Transformation

Introduced digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness programs for youth and women.

2025

Holistic Integration

Launched One Welfare approach linking animal welfare with human rights, and AI for community good initiatives.
