A grassroots organization dedicated to empowering communities since 2005.
Community Capacity Building Organization (CCABO) is a Community-Based Organization (CBO) registered in 2005 and operating in Kakamega County, Kenya. We were established to respond to local development challenges through community-driven, inclusive, and sustainable solutions.
We work closely with communities, local leaders, civil society actors, and other stakeholders to strengthen local capacities and promote social justice, accountability, and improved quality of life.
Target Groups: Women, youth, children, persons with disabilities (PWDs), people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs), and vulnerable households.
"A resilient, empowered and self-reliant community living in dignity, justice and sustainable prosperity."
To empower vulnerable and marginalized communities through capacity building, advocacy, legal aid, climate-smart livelihoods, child protection, and participatory governance for sustainable development.
We uphold honesty and strong moral principles in all our actions.
Open communication and clear accountability to our communities and partners.
Taking responsibility for our commitments and delivering measurable results.
Ensuring fair access and opportunities for all, especially the marginalized.
Meaningful community engagement in decision-making processes.
Promoting dignity and rights for every individual.
We believe that lasting change happens when communities are empowered with knowledge, skills, and opportunities to lead their own development. Our community-led approach ensures that interventions are locally relevant, inclusive, and sustainable.
